The Untold Story

Let me start by telling you that NOT every piece of my art has a back story. Some people love a great story, I just love Stunning Dynamic and Unforgettable art. Yes, many of my works have a theme, or an idea behind them, but not all.
I want your mind to create it's own stories.

Some of my work has been inspired by Music, Emotion, Critical Thinking, Events, and an "occasional" Margarita.

I specialize in Contemporary Abstract Art because I have a great passion for it. Every time you see it, there is something different. Art is something that should grow with you. (Part of my artistic philosophy) You will notice in many of my works that there is a story inside of what you first see. At times, I include and add a story, only a great eye will catch.

Normally, I hesitate to name every piece. A name drives your mind down a specific path. In a lot of ways, I want it to be YOUR own path. This creates a timeless and unique art experience for you. While I am the architect of my work, it is really about Us.

My Secret Art Life

I would night climb out of my crib just to draw. My parents were not happy about that! At the age of 4 I started Piano lessons and sports. Apparently, this was better than me drawing on the walls at 2 am. There was no stopping me, I continued to draw, paint and study art history right through nursing school.

The Start of My Art Career

After many years of study and training I decided to go for it. I was a landscape painter back then. Who would have guessed? Bob Ross made happy trees, mine on the other hand...

At that time you sought gallery representation in order to be shown. For me, that went south very quickly. Gallery owners told me in a very blunt way, I would never become a serious artist. While that may have discouraged others, it lit a fire within me. Now I wanted to be better than a Master!

After Midnight

I through the rule book out the window, and went to work like a Mad Scientist. All of my free time was spent learning /experimenting with materials, paint, processes and color. I have mixed paint with unimaginable substances. Almost burned the house down a few times. That is another story for another time.

In my mind, modern art practices, and rules were blocking my creativity, so I simply eliminated them. This opened the door to a new world of endless possibilities.

Most artists have an art studio, I have a Mad Scientist Laboratory! To suggest that the creation of my work might get a little crazy, is probably a dramatic understatement.

Unfortunately, my early critics passed before I could thank them. Without them, I would have never become the artist I am today.

No Limits

After more than 50 years of study and highly creative experimentation I have now started to release my work to the public. Now you can find Affordable abstract wall art for almost any taste. Your search for better art is over!

Unfortunately, most artists are "trapped" and Limited. They tend to create a different version of the same work, over and over again. While creating a series can be very satisfying, diversity with no limits, takes art to a much higher level.

Unqualified Critics

I fear no "Pro" art critics. My response is simple. You bring YOUR art work, and I will bring MINE. Good luck with that!  (I secretly live for the day!) Critics should be "Masters" at some form of art, otherwise, they are just people who talk, and know nothing. Talking is just talking, no matter how you spin it. The proof is in their ability.

My Art Philosophy

Art should come alive in your soul, spark emotion, and create intellectual thought.
There is nothing worse than boring wall art.
When was the last time you honesty directly witnessed, Stunning, Dynamic and Unforgettable art in someone's home or office?

What Happened?

Most people just cover wall spaces with whatever they could find, or what was passed down to them. There are still very few choices and alternatives. Great art is like looking for a diamond in a coal mine.

The problem is, most contemporary and modern artists have failed all of us. A serious lack of talent, and no drive to develop it. Talent comes from time, passion, sacrifice, pain, failure, and maybe a minor touch of Insanity. This is how Brilliance is born.

Today we live in an instant gratification kind of world. Artists have no patience to develop "Master Works" because they can take months or years to finish. Now they want it in 3-4 hours, start to finish. This is a sad Truth.

Most of the art world are lying to you, but the really sad part is, they believe their own lies. What passes as a "Master" artist or piece, is just a bunch of people knowingly lying to each other. While there many pioneer artists, very few qualify as "Masters." This is nothing more than marketing to the uneducated.

Their solution to bad art? More bad art.

Reality in Art

If you do not have the right people representing you in the art world, your career is over before it began. I am NOT playing their game. Never!
You can be certain that,  I will bring it on like a Freight Train. If I need someone else to explain why my art is for you, it is indeed NOT for you.

Who I Am

Most of my time is split between nursing and art. I have an extreme passion for both!

Formal Dinner Parties are Great, but I am a country girl who appreciates, dogs, outdoor cooking, great conversation and bon fires. While I play piano, I also enjoy rock and country music. Just maybe, you might see me out on the dance floor.

Some other things I enjoy, fishing, boating, going 200 mph plus, reading, and charity work.
